[CentOS] Centos 4 on a portable hard drive..help!!

G'day one and all,

I would like to install Centos 4 on a freecom classic hard drive (usb) ..the 
box I want to use can boot from removable devices.

Any ideas how to go about installing onto the portable drive?

If not can anyone point me in the right direction?

I have tried to google but have not come up with much info....or info that I 
understand anyway!!!!!
