[CentOS] Restart Linux

Hi, it worked for me adding acpi=off apm=on to the kernel parameters in 
grub.conf:

kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.9-11.EL ro root=LABEL=/ rhgb quiet acpi=off apm=on
