Thanks for the info. I'm familar with VNC, and had not even thought
of using that, but in another reply, Marc Powell suggests "Screen" which
might work as well as the watch or better. Actually something like a
whiteboard for a terminal is what I'm after, and it sounds like screen
might be it.
