I'm specifically looking at the winbindd improvements. Mine keeps dying. I have a work around but most questions to the samba list get answered with: upgrade to 3.0.20... I am considering upgrading (reinstalling) to centos 4 but that only gets me to 3.0.10. I can wait a bit but upgrading some packages is always is always daunting. chuck -----Original Message----- From: centos-bounces at centos.org [mailto:centos-bounces at centos.org] On Behalf Of Craig White Sent: Tuesday, September 20, 2005 1:22 PM To: CentOS mailing list Subject: Re: [CentOS] Centos 3 samba upgrade On Tue, 2005-09-20 at 16:14 -0500, Johnny Hughes wrote: > On Tue, 2005-09-20 at 13:07 -0800, Colht, Charles wrote: > > I want to upgrade my samba installation from 3.0.9-1.3E.3 to 3.0.20 > > without breaking anything along the way :) Any suggestions about order > > of installation? I would expect that RHEL will adopt it probably soon after 3.0.20b happens.
