[CentOS] kernel source 2.6.9-34.EL 4.3

Hi,

I've hit an unpatched kernel issue while trying to build on sources  see 
the header for version details..

arch/i386/kernel/built-in.o(.init.text+0x1585): In function `setup_arch':
: undefined reference to `acpi_boot_table_init'
make: *** [.tmp_vmlinux1] Error 1


It seems that I would need to install (centos/redhat) patches after 
installing/building the kernel source tree
from the kernel-2.6.9-34.EL.src.rpm

Is that correct ??
