Any machine that can run CentOS 4 and has 256mb RAM and lots of storage space can be the backup machine ... though there are calculations and those will run much faster with more horsepower. Also lots of stuff can be cached, so the more memory the better too. You could run 2 separate instances of httpd (apache) on different ports (a normal one and a backuppc one) which would allow you to run normal websites and the backuppc server on a web server ... so anything is possible. -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
