-----Original Message----- From: centos-bounces at centos.org [mailto:centos-bounces at centos.org] On Behalf Of Rodrigo Barbosa Sent: Wednesday, August 09, 2006 12:29 PM To: CentOS mailing list Subject: Re: [CentOS] Server Hacked: Cpanel Not only it will use unsecure versions of many softwares and some patches of questionable safety, it will also stop you from using several method of improving security (/tmp hardening with ACLs is just one example). --- Not to sound silly but cPanel automatically secures the /tmp directory since the end of last year. Some people disable it forcefully. -Drew
