However, there is one other consideration, and that is the release date of CentOS-3.8. The upstream provider did not publicly release the GFS files for 3.8 onto their FTP server and the 3.8 team is looking at their release plan with this problem. We do not want to release 3.8 and 4.4 at the same time due to server load for rsyncs and updates. We will probably hold off the 4.4 release until 3.8 has been released and server load has stabilized. This is normally one week. So 3.8 should be released in the next couple days ... and 4.4 should be about a week after that.
