I've just looked at bug 1062 at http://bugs.centos.org/view.php?id=1062 and what i did to remove most of the errors is :- - ensure you have rpmbuild tools - grab the SRPM from the fedora directory in www.samba.org site - rebuild it as non root. (takes about an hour) - dmesg is now cleaner of "kernel errors present", "smb cannot connect etc" [jim at smith ~]$ grep samba /var/log/rpmpkgs samba-3.0.21b-3.i386.rpm samba-client-3.0.21b-3.i386.rpm samba-common-3.0.21b-3.i386.rpm samba-doc-3.0.21b-3.i386.rpm samba-swat-3.0.21b-3.i386.rpm system-config-samba-1.2.21-1.noarch.rpm __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
