Very nice writeup :-) This step, however, is not needed and can cause problems
by pointing to the wrong version next time you upgrade. The "new" place to
look (instead of /usr/src/linux) is /lib/modules/$(uname -r)/build. This
works with most things I've tried lately (like 3ware, xfs, infiniband stacks,
etc..)
