FYI the intial .99 version breaks revolving capture queues. http://bugs.ethereal.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=895 The author released a fix for this (pretty quickly too) but I am unsure if RedHat applied the latest CVS fixes (SVN 18032) to this update or not. So if you have any recorders setup like this you may be in for a surprise. -Greg > -----Original Message----- > From: centos-bounces at centos.org > [mailto:centos-bounces at centos.org] On Behalf Of Joe Klemmer > Sent: Wednesday, May 03, 2006 10:45 PM > To: centos at centos.org > Subject: [CentOS] Re: [CentOS-announce] CESA-2006:0420 > Moderate CentOS 4s390(x) ethereal - security update > > On Thu, 2006-05-04 at 06:34 +0300, Pasi Pirhonen wrote: > > > CentOS Errata and Security Advisory 2006:0420 > > > > https://rhn.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2006-0420.html > > > > The following updated files have been uploaded and are currently > > syncing to the mirrors: > > > > s390: > > updates/s390/RPMS/ethereal-0.99.0-EL4.2.s390.rpm > > updates/s390/RPMS/ethereal-gnome-0.99.0-EL4.2.s390.rpm > > > > s390x: > > updates/s390x/RPMS/ethereal-0.99.0-EL4.2.s390x.rpm > > updates/s390x/RPMS/ethereal-gnome-0.99.0-EL4.2.s390x.rpm > > Might not there be a way to separate out these announcements by > architecture?
