Can you ssh into the machine (from an external machine) after the
keyboard locks up or is the machine locked?

Are you hooked up to a KVM switch?

Do you have the latest BIOS installed from the Motherboard manufacturer?

Is there a BIOS setting for keyboard that has a USB / PS2 selection?
