Yes unix file system don't have an archive bit that is set by the backup
application and unset when the file is modified !
The only way to make differential backup, is to select the files using its
'last modification time'.
A good way to do that in a script is to create a file when the backup start,
and then backup only file older than this one the next time.

I' have no idea how to deal with this probleme using Arc Serve
