[CentOS] Yet another yum/rpm update problem

The problem is that rpm itself is hanging (even a simple "rpm -q  
sqlite" would hang).  I did a "rm -f /var/lib/rpm/__db*; rpm -vv  
rebuilddb" a second time and that finally fixed the problem.  Now rpm  
is happy and so is yum.  Everything is back to normal.  The update  
just finished successfully.
