[CentOS] ftpd that supports LDAP?

I did try that, but had difficulties in compiling it from source-- it's not in the yum repositories (either CentOS or Dag Wieers).

Hello everybody,

I'm new to this list, did you give a try to pure-ftpd? you could auth
with native Linux users, LDAP, MySQL, PGSQL, puredb format, and so on,
with enough security and stability
