[CentOS] postconf: /usr/lib/mysql/libmysqlclient.so.14: no version information available (required by postconf)

I have an update for this post.

To correct the problem all I had to do was:
1) grab the src.rpm for the new centosplus postfix package
2) rpmbuild --rebuild src.rpm on the server that has mysql 5 installed
from centosplus. 
Once I installed this package in place of the centos plus package the
errors went away.
