After I right clicked and and selected QUIT on the GUI for the update icon I looked in /etc/init.d and the only thing there that looks pertinant is yum-updatesd However, again after I elected to GUI the GUI icon for updates (so its gone) a ps ax | grep yum still showed the yum-updatesd process running. Is this the same process I a interested in? I was just wanting to confirm before I go shutting off "chkconfig yum-updatesd off" THanks, Jerry -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
