[CentOS] why centos 5 can not be installed in graphic mode on my pc

To get it to initially work, you can edit the file "/etc/X11/xorg.conf"
and find this section:

Section "Device"
        Identifier  "Videocard0"
        Driver      "nv"
EndSection
============================================

Change "nv" to "vesa"

Then you should at least get some X capability.
