My CentOS 4.5 desktop system has two SATA drives: the boot drive is /dev/hda1 and the second drive is /dev/sda1. Is this the expected naming convention? It really got me confused and this was partly the reason why I accidentally initialized my boot partition recently while trying to add the second drive. Alfred
