It appears from the Red Hat Bugzilla entry that this is a likely candidate for inclusion in 5.2 (assuming the patch is accepted upstream - kernel.org that is for Red Hat). The bug is currently in POST state, which means that the patch has been submitted upstream but not yet included. In the meantime, you're free to use the patch provided in the Bugzilla.
