In almost all cases, if you're using more than a few dozen megabytes of
swap, it's already too late. Disk is so many times slower than ram it's
pathetic. If you have to use anywhere close to 2GB, you might as well be out
of memory.


(The exception here is suspend-to-disk, which uses your swap partition.)
