Yep, I have ran into similar probs with adp94xx drivers from IBM/Adaptec. Quite a pain in the ass. The drivers endedup working, but took some trickery. I ended up getting the installer going, then switching to the second virtual terminal, mounting the .img disk, then manually insmod'ing the the kernel module. *Then* it actually found the disks, and the install could continue. > I really need to install centos as an array... and as hardware RAID and not software RAID. Lots of other people have covered the hardware-vs-software/fakeRAID stuff. Linux software RAID works great. Hotswap works well too if you are concerned about that. Mike
