We put 2 x Opteron 275 and 4 Gigs of RAM. It runs flawlessly 5 VMWare hosts (3 CentOS + 2 Winblows inside) with free VMWare server. We'll begin to test Xen 3 soon (we need SVM support for Winblows...). As for Dell, we had many hitches with their "not always standard" hardware.
