Thanks for the advice. I followed the instructions on the wiki to rebuild the kernel (still waiting for the kernel to finish rebuilding), but I was confused by one thing. The current kernel2.6.9-i686.config file shows the ISA option to be enabled. Wouldn't that be the default setting of the kernel then? I am running 2.6.9-42.EL. Wouldn't that imply that it is enabled on that kernel then? Is there a way I can check to validate that it isn't already enabled? Thanks, Eric
