For others with this problem: [root at nagios-server nagios]# cat /etc/redhat-release CentOS release 4.5 (Final) [root at nagios-server nagios]# pwd /etc/nagios [root at nagios-server nagios]# grep nagios.cmd * -n nagios.cfg:183:command_file=/var/log/nagios/rw/nagios.cmd
