Jeff,
To follow up on my own message: It sounds like you want to run Tomcat on
port 80. If you Google this:
tomcat "port 80"
you'll find some good discussions of the issues and how to do this
(including iptables).
If you Google:
tomcat "port 80" iptables
you'll narrow it down a bit.
