Hogwash! Never trust anything in a wiki. They can make up anything they like. With computers, it is always base 2 not 10. All your computer commands are going to give one base 2 numbers even disk drive space. Yes, the disk drive and probably tape drive manufactures are cheating you when they say MB as they mean base 10, but they know full well it is suppose to be base 2. It is like the monitor manufacturers who started measuring the plastic case and quoting that as the screen size. It is really a 15" monitor but with 2" of plastic, they call it 17".
