Watch out for background processes that steal
resources:
   Move /etc/cron.daily/ mlocate
                         prelink
    to /etc/cron.weekly

   Remove /etc/cron.daily/makewhatis and let it only
run weekly (its already in weekly)

   Open /etc/updatedb and tune it for your system:
     add ntfs-3g or vfat to prunefs

   If you have any mock partitions, add that to
prunepath
