[CentOS] why type "perl -MCPAN -e shell" -> "install XML::Simple" on CentOS 5?

Because for some insane reason you chose to go about things the hard
(and potentially dangerous) way instead of 'yum install
perl-XML-Simple' from the base repository.

Please don't make me get out my soap box regarding package management.
