Hi all, Is there any more exhaustive explanation on this command? find / -type f -perm -2. Someone said that it means to find all files which have 'other' write access. From the man page it only says: -perm mode File’s permission bits are exactly mode (octal or symbolic). Symbolic modes use mode 0 as a point of departure. -perm -mode All of the permission bits mode are set for the file. -perm +mode Any of the permission bits mode are set for the file. Is there any table that explain all that mode? Thank you. -- Fajar Priyanto | Reg'd Linux User #327841 | Linux tutorial http://linux2.arinet.org 07:49:46 up 37 min, 2.6.22-14-generic GNU/Linux Let's use OpenOffice. http://www.openoffice.org The real challenge of teaching is getting your students motivated to learn. -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
