I am almost getting it. I did a: rpmbuild --rebuild miredo.1.1.5-1.fc8.src.rpm In otherwords, I did not even bother to open up the src rpm. I hope that won't cause too much of an issue with what was built on Centos! So do I then do: rpmbuild --define 'dist .el5' --rebuild miredo.1.1.5-1.fc8.src.rpm
