For php 5.2.x on CentOS 4 and 5 I would recommend the "Les RPM de Remi" repository at http://remi.collet.free.fr/index.php It contains only the bits necessary for php 5.2.x and it's the least intrusive repository for php 5.2.5 on CentOS 4 and 5 that I've found. -tgc
