I don't have immediate crashes but random freezes on a Intel BOXDG965RYCK. About every 1 hour, the system would freeze. Turning off X fixed the issue. Since your post I enabled X using the vesa driver (the system is a new 5.2 install) and so far everything is good... Peter.
