I went back to 7.9 and it all works perfectly. I've seen from other comments that I am not alone here, but I have no idea what's going on, other than it doesn't work. I use CUPS and have a Minolta PagePro 1100 laser printer that works great with the foomatic lj4 driver in everything else. YMMV. mhr
