I DO NOT find yum-arch at all. Dunno what yum-arch contains, but I wonder if it is not a complete yum installation. On the off-chance that it is, you could try: ls -l `rpm -ql yum-arch-2.2.2-2.el5.kb` | less to see what files it contains, and whether all of them are actually still on your disk, or not.
