[CentOS] yum update fails: CentOS 5.2

Yum clean all only does housekeeping on yum's files. It does not fix any
problems in the underlying rpm database.
Deleting the __db files will usually clean up after improperly closed rpm
sessions. You usually have to follow the deletion with "rpm --updatedb" for it
to do anything.
