OK, I'm just looking through the list archives because I'm revisiting my centralised authentication as per an email I'd sent out a while back. And I hit upon this. And incidentally I believe this is one instance where I think top-posting is warranted so please do not chew me out for it (left original in tact as a memory refresher since it has been nearly 2 months) Anyway, from the original message I do not see any docs for setting up the server. The documentation URL provided below has a doc for the client side, and for the user, but not for setting up the server. Also wondering how this compares to Centos-DS and which one I should be using. thanks, -Alan On Wed, Sep 30, 2009 at 7:43 PM, Johnny Hughes <johnny at centos.org> wrote: > I have just completed building the RPMS for the CentOS Enterprise IPA > (Identity, Policy, and Audit) Server. > > This is based on the sources from the Red Hat Enterprise IPA server. > > Documentation can be downloaded here: > > http://www.centos.org/docs/5/pdf/eipa/1.0/ > > The RPMS are located in the testing repository. > > http://dev.centos.org/centos/5/testing/SRPMS/CEIPA/ > > http://dev.centos.org/centos/5/testing/i386/RPMS/CEIPA/ > > http://dev.centos.org/centos/5/testing/x86_64/RPMS/CEIPA/ > > For anyone who wants to test EIPA, please install and provide feedback > on this thread: > > http://bugs.centos.org/view.php?id=3880 > > Thanks, > Johnny Hughes > > > _______________________________________________ > CentOS mailing list > CentOS at centos.org > http://lists.centos.org/mailman/listinfo/centos > > -- “Don't eat anything you've ever seen advertised on TV” - Michael Pollan, author of "In Defense of Food"
