[CentOS] Can't download large files

google seemed to indicate tis a WGET problem, not a server problem.   
wget's from the vinage of RHEL4 at least seemed to have problems with 
REST (resumes) in the > 2GB range causing issues at 4GB.   dunno why, 
didn't dig any deeper.
