Even if there are no Centos solutions besides roll your own? Too bad. I 
am all for use the right tool for the job. The brand of the tool does 
not really matter.

However, the OP is looking for a iscsi-target...which, if I am not 
wrong, does not quite exist yet in Centos/RHEL.
