The problem is probably with flashplayer and firefox. Both with firefox 3.0.14
and 3.5.3, if I tried to view a flash video, such as street view from google
maps, it crashed firefox, hard, 100% of the time. I reported this as a bug last
week - bug 515672 - and they finally tracked it down the other day. Turns out
there's an undocumented dependency on libcurl, so if you install the curl rpm -
both, if you're running 64-bit, that fixes it.
Heh - it even caused their crashreporter to crash, because *it* needed it as well.
