I take that back. Don't build it from source, that's silly. Install the EPEL repo. You can then "yum install sssd". http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/EPEL/FAQ#howtouse http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/EPEL However, since you have an older "authconfig", you'll end up doing the sssd configuration by hand. What I'd recommend is that you get a Fedora 13 host and set it up as an LDAP client using sssd (authconfig will help you). When you are satisfied that it is working, you can use the pam, nss, and sssd configuration files to set up any CentOS hosts that you want to use as mobile LDAP clients.
