If you're running the same OS cpuspeed versions and on the same hardware as I am, then something's amiss in distribution. # cpuspeed --help 2>&1|head -1 cpuspeed v1.2.1 Plus, I would think we both should have cpufreq_performance.ko as it's one of the drivers mentioned in the cpuspeed docs and manpage.
