So I went weeding through the install.pl to see if I could just disable this check, and found the error message below is being produced by this if clause : my $rrd_version = $RRDs::VERSION; die "Can't find out which version of RRD you are using!\n" unless defined $rrd_version; $NfConf::RRDoffset = NfSenRRD::GetRRDoffset(); if ( !defined $NfConf::RRDoffset ) { die "$Log::ERROR\n"; } But of course I have no idea whether or not it is safe to just ignore, or comment that out.
