I see Fedora has HFSPlus support I'd be tempted to connect the HFS+ RAID back to the Mac and copy the data using rsync. Sure it won't be as quick as direct attached, but maybe quicker than waiting for a working solution. Or maybe try a Fedora live CD. Ben
