The only deviation you can have is that you can skip Section 2 (Key-based authentication) entirely *IF* your sshd is set up to allow password authentication (PasswordAuthentication yes). The most common error associated with authentication error is failure of copying the content of client.id_dsa.key when setting up the client. Akemi
