If you haven't make any changes, it would be weird, since it defaults to send email, but you may want to verify this file: /usr/share/logwatch/default.conf/logwatch.conf And see if this part of the file is commented out or at least set to yes: # By default the cron daemon generates daily logwatch report # if you want to switch it off uncomment DailyReport tag. # The implicit value is Yes # # DailyReport = No
