Go back and look at what he actually released and what he said when he
turned the project loose if you have any illusions that he thought
what he shipped was going to run on everything.   But this isn't about
Linux - it is about 'Enterprise Linux' as shipped/maintained by a
certain large company mostly concerned about customers paying for
support.
