[CentOS] happy new year :D i have a problem to upgrade my glibc to 2.7 on centos 5.5

Nasm was the rpm that required glibc 2.7. He rebuilt the source rpm
against the glibc version Centos 5 uses. His steps will not help you
to upgrade glibc. Is there a reason you can't just build your
application against the glibc in CentOS?
