This error is the source of the problem. You should focus on that. But I 
was unable to find anything similar to this on Google.

It says that first character of the first line has syntax error, so 
please try installing with some default/example kickstart file and 
compare any config files you edited focusing on first character/line. 
maybe you typed some character by accident while you reviewed the file(s).
