Opposite of my experience. All functions on my Dell work with CentOS, including "sleep," etc. Linux Mint can't replicate that -- if I close the lid, for example, I have to reboot. I haven't been able to find a fix for this. But I think it depends on your hardware. -- RonB -- Using CentOS 5.6
